Passive Voice/Sentence


Passive Voice/Sentence is the way to modify sentence by focusing on the object. Passive Voice/Sentence is also used to strengthen the subject while expressing ideas.

Passive Voice/Sentence is modified and formed based on the tense (time when the action happens).

Language note### 
-ONLY VERBAL SENTENCE CAN BE CHANGED INTO PASSIVE VOICE 
-VERB USED IS PARTICIPLE (V3)
-TRANSITIVE VERB ONLY


1. Passive Voice/Sentence (Present Simple)

(Active voiceFreedy loves Sepri.

(Passive VoiceSepri is loved by Freedy.


2. Passive Voice/Sentence (Present continuous)

(Active voiceFreedy is reading a book.

(Passive Voice) A book is being read by Freedy.


3. Passive Voice/Sentence (Future Simple)

(Active voice) Doli  will make a cake tomorrow.

(Passive Voice) A cake will be made by Doli.


4. Passive Voice/Sentence (MODAL::::: MUST and SHOULD)
(Active voiceDoli  must take an English Course as soon as possible.

(Passive VoiceAn English Course must be taken by Doli as soon as possible.
